Our Mission
The AI International Micro-Drama Festival celebrates the endless creativity seen on smart phones worldwide. Micro-Dramas is where bold storytellers push boundaries, crafting compelling micro-dramas, binge-worthy mini-series, or just straight-up game-changing content designed for the phone screen, laptops, TVs or Notepads . Our festival is monthly to keep pace!
This isn't just about one platform; it's about the global movement. We curate videos made for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and ReelShorts, but also Douyin (短视频), Kwai (快手), Duanju (短剧), WeChat Channels, KakaoTV, and Snapchat.

The Best Rise to the Top
We curate new submissions every month in EITHER of two categories:
1. Outstanding short Micro-Dramas made for phone screens – including live-action, hybrid AI, AI video, animation, documentaries, micro-dramas, micro-comedies, mini-series, or any episodic content. It's not required, but helpful, if the videos utilize AI tools to enhance or even generate.
OR
2. Compelling short Micro-Dramas that dive into AI-related themes. Whether it's live-action, animated, or documentary-style, stores exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on society, humanity, or our future – like neuro-chips, digital identity, robot-human romance, or even AI anxiety.
Judging Criteria: Submitted works are curated for:
- Visual and cinematic excellence in the vertical format
- Narrative or emotional impact
- Originality and cultural relevance
- Creative use of new tools or AI tools or exploration of AI themes

Shows are scheduled in Hollywood, California for June 24 2026 and monthly after that.

Winning videos are collected monthly and prominently featured for global screening across all devices on Eventive.org, giving your work the spotlight and reach it deserves.
Winning creators are inducted into our exclusive Winners Guild community, with access to free tools and a private communications channel for collaboration, sharing insights, and vibing with fellow award-winning videomakers.

The festival is organized by The AI Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2017, dedicated to public education about artificial intelligence and the arts. Our programming emphasizes originality, ethics, cultural diversity, and narrative creativity.
